• Write the equation & sketch the graph of this ellipse:
• The minor axis is 14
• co-vertices: (0, 5) & (0, -5)
• The center is usually in the middle of vertices, co-vertices, foci – so what is it?

Focus Questions:

• 1. Describe the information you can obtain from the standard equation of the translated ellipse, such as (x^2/16)+((y^2 - 5)/25) = 1.
